Privacy, kept simple

This website is a quiet place. Nothing tracks you until you say yes. On your first visit you are asked about cookies, and if you decline, no tracking loads at all.

If you accept cookies

We load two things. Google Analytics counts visits and shows us which parts of the site people read, so we know what is worth writing more of. The Meta Pixel shares that same activity with Meta, who match it to a Facebook or Instagram account where one exists, so we can tell whether our advertising reaches the right people.

Both set cookies in your browser. We use them to understand how guests find us, and for nothing else. We never sell or share this with anyone beyond those two services. Details are in the Google privacy policy and the Meta privacy policy.

Your choice is remembered in your browser. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the question comes back on your next visit.

If you decline, none of the above happens. No pixel, no cookies, no data leaves the page.

Fonts

Our typefaces load from Adobe Fonts. When the page loads, your browser requests the font files from Adobe's servers, which means Adobe receives your IP address as part of that request. Adobe states that its font service does not set cookies. Details are in the Adobe Fonts privacy notice.

The NOR list

If you join the NOR list, we keep your email address on our own server and use it to send occasional notes about the spa. We share it with nobody. To leave the list, reply to any of our emails or write to hello@norbinginspa.com and we remove you the same day.

Reservations and links

Reservations happen on WhatsApp, and our social links lead to Instagram and Google Maps. Anything you share there is handled by those services under their own privacy policies. We only see the message you choose to send us.
